Digital MarketingManager(Melbourne, VIC)

THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly driven, analytical, creative, and commercially minded Digital Marketing Manager to help elevate Marmalade’s digital and demand strategy, and set the business up for scale through our next phase of growth.

You will own all paid and organic inbound channels and customer nurture journeys to deliver high quality and consistent lead volume into the Distribution team. This is a rare opportunity for a proven commercially savvy, digital marketer to join a business at a critical inflection point.


Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

  • Owning the end-to-end digital, inbound demand generation, and lead nurture strategy
  • Exceeding inbound lead and customer acquisition targets 
  • Leading the direction of both paid and unpaid channels to deliver a diversified lead mix to deliver sustained growth
  • Developing strategic ABM strategies focused on key industry verticals 
  • Scoping, briefing and distributing content to deliver on SEO strategies and outcomes
  • Owning website content and conversion rate optimisation strategies for the core Marmalade website
  • A/B testing of campaigns and delivering on conversion rate targets
  • Effective budget and CAC ratio management
  • Researching and deploying new inbound approaches to stay ahead of the curve
  • Maintaining a high standard of Salesforce CRM data integrity 
  • Re-building and developing lead nurture strategy using Account Engage / Pardot 
  • Tracking and reporting on key performance metrics to keep stakeholders informed
  • Working closely with Marmalade’s Executive team on plans for new market expansion beyond Australia
  • Owning relationships with external agencies, and holding them accountable to results


WHO YOU ARE

  • 7+ years working in high performing digital, demand generation or performance marketing teams
  • 3+ years leading demand generation strategy with a B2B technology product - fintech or financial services experience advantageous 
  • The confidence and experience to own a key distribution channel for a high growth scale-up and can tell us how you have solved complex problems in a fast paced environment.
  • Passionate about commercial outcomes for your campaign activity, and obsessed with results. You love data and reporting and can demonstrate how you have a history of exceeding inbound targets consistently.
  • Strong CRM and Marketing Automation experience, and are comfortable building and executing effective lead nurture campaigns
  • Excited working in an environment where some systems and processes are in build stage, that you can help define 
  • You love working with sales teams, and understand pipeline and conversion funnels.
  • Strong ability to prioritise activity based on potential impact
  • Can easily move from strategy and leadership to hands-on tactical activation
  • Self-motivated and autonomous 
  • Natural communicator and collaborator
  •  Excited about the opportunity to build something new
